SWACO seeks yard waste services provider

The central Ohio waste agency is requesting proposals from companies that can collect and process residential yard waste.

The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO), based in Grove City, Ohio, has issued a request for proposals (RFP) seeking a provider of yard waste collection and processing services throughout Franklin County, which includes Columbus.

SWACO is requesting proposals from existing facilities prepared to receive and process residential and municipally generated yard waste and to operate a yard waste collection specifically at a property in northwest Columbus, where Ohio Mulch has been operating.

A preproposal meeting for the project has been scheduled for Nov. 3 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern and sealed proposals from bidders must be received by SWACO no later than 1:30 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 19.
