Terex Environmental Equipment (TEE), Farwell, Mich., will be showcasing its TBC 440 Biomass Whole Tree Chipper at the Northeastern Forest Products Equipment Expo, taking place in mid-May in Bangor, Maine.
“We are delighted to be able to exhibit the TBC 440 at the Expo,” says Kris Snyder, TEE biomass sales manager. “This gives us a great opportunity to discuss our complete comprehensive 400 biomass range, [and] we look forward to meeting with customers at the Expo and discussing the benefits of our entire product portfolio to help them deliver all their wood processing and recycling needs.”
The 400 series has three models, the TBC 430, TBC 440 and TBC 460. Each of the models is available in two configurations: standard tow-behind and track-driven. The options can be equipped with optional loaders or a screen and blower system.
TEE says the drum in the 400 series has the largest diameter in the industry, helping to improve efficiency and reducing fuel consumption and providing a mechanical advantage in cutting attack angle, wear, longevity, kinetic energy and fuel efficiency.
The large in-feed system and opening enables efficient feed of slash, limbs, short wood and whole trees.
