TruckPay, a Tenafly, New Jersey-based fleet management software company, has partnered with San Jose, California-based waste management software company Green Halo Systems to integrate MyTruckScales, a mobile and cloud-based scale-house management and point of sale (POS) platform, to the Green Halo portal.
The company says its platform provides an easy way for contractors, recycling facilities, transfer stations and landfill operators to comply with landfill diversion reporting statistics.
“We are super excited to partner with Green Halo, as we greatly appreciate all of the work that they are doing to reduce the amount of toxic materials that are being dumped into overly full landfills,” TruckPay CEO Barry Honig says. “MyTruckScales is the most sophisticated and easy-to-use scale management and POS platform on the market. It enables both small facilities as well as multi-site operators to easily comply with their Green Halo reporting requirements, without stressing and stretching their costly technology resources. MyTruckScales takes care of everything for them.”
Green Halo provides more than 500 municipalities with a waste and recycling portal for the reporting of landfill diversion statistics and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) reporting. The company’s customer base includes more than 10 million end-user customers in California, Illinois and Florida. The portal enables contractors to provide data on recycling materials, including construction and demolition debris.
“I have worked in the waste and recycling industry for over 20 years and have seen almost every scale management system on the market,” Green Halo CEO Dean Rodatos says. “Without question, MyTruckScales provides the smoothest, least painful integration to Green Halo of any scale-house system. As more and more counties and municipalities require that recyclers provide actual certified scale tickets to the Green Halo platform, we are very excited to partner with TruckPay to make that requirement as easy as possible for our customers.”
