The University of Wisconsin-Madison is offering a continuing education credit and educational opportunity in Madison, Wisconsin, March 7 to 9 on the campus.
Civil engineers, landfill designers, owners and operators, local, county and state regulatory agencies, public works officials, municipal engineers, facility managers with on-site disposal cells, contractors and estimators are among the group of professionals who will be at the Solid Waste Landfill Design course.
Principles and practices of solid waste landfill development, design, construction and management will be part of the curriculum, as well as practical emerging technologies, landfill gas contaminant and management and characterization and management of industrial residuals will also be discussed.
Twenty-three professional development hours, or 2.3 continuing education units, will be earned by participating in the course. To enroll in the course, go to www.epd.wisc.edu.
