The US Composting Council (USCC), headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, is offering in-person professional certification exams for the first time during the COMPOST2026 conference in Sacramento, California.
Industry professionals have until Nov. 15 to register for the in-person Certified Compost Operations Manager (CCOM) and the Certified Composting Professional (CCP) exams. The certification test is scheduled for 8 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026. Due to space limitations, the USCC strongly encourages candidates to apply early.
The initiative aims to provide industry leaders with a pathway to achieve certification while attending the largest North American gathering of the composting industry. The early bird registration deadline for the conference is Nov. 20.
