Vocational Trucks and Equipment (VTE), headquartered in Tampa, Florida, has named Joe Pisano as the company’s chief commercial officer. The appointment aims to strengthen the company’s focus on dealer support and growth across its nationwide network.
VTE is the parent organization behind a network of independent equipment dealerships providing environmental services equipment to municipal, private and public fleets.
Pisano has more than 13 years of experience in the environmental equipment industry. He spent over three years with Clean Energy, headquartered in Newport Beach, California, and held multiple leadership roles during his eight-year tenure at Dodge Center, Minnesota-based McNeilus, including director of sales operations. Most recently, he led off-rent truck sales at Big Truck Rental of Tampa, Florida, working with independent, municipal and national account customers to support fleet planning and equipment solutions.
As chief commercial officer, Pisano will oversee commercial strategy across the company’s dealership network. He also will work closely with dealer leadership to support program development and commercial performance, equipping dealers with resources, tools and strategic support.
Robby DeHart, who previously served as chief commercial officer, will transition into the role of chief operating officer, where he will increase his focus on operational support across the dealership network. In this role, VTE says DeHart will work closely with operational leaders to enhance parts and service capabilities, strengthen customer support offerings and further leverage VTE’s scale to improve dealership synergies and long-term growth.
“Joe’s experience across the environmental services equipment sector adds important depth to our leadership team,” Matt McLeish, CEO of VTE, says. “With Joe leading our commercial efforts and Robby focused on operations, we are building on an already strong organization and expanding our capacity to deliver exceptional support to our dealerships and the customers they support.”
