Tanika Giles has been named the new vice president of human resources at Waste Industries, Raleigh, North Carolina. Tyler Frisbie, president of Global Recruiters McKinney, McKinney, Texas, helped with Giles’s hiring.
Giles will be reporting to Waste Industries Chief Operating Officer Greg Yorston.
She brings 16 years of experience to Waste Industries. Originally from North Carolina, Giles graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in psychology, earned a graduate degree in human resources management from Keller Graduate School of Management in Atlanta and is currently pursuing a doctorate in industrial organizational psychology-leadership/coaching development at Walden University.
Prior to accepting this position, she served as the vice president of human resources at Ackerman Security in Atlanta.
