Waste Pro, Longwood, Florida, announced July 3 that the company has acquired Citrus County, Florida-based Angie’s Disposal Service Inc. The acquisition became effective July 1.
Angie’s Disposal Service has been servicing approximately 4,500 customers in the Citrus County area for the past four years. As part of the acquisition arrangement, Waste Pro will now provide service to these customers and has onboarded Angie’s employees at its Hernando, Florida, facility.
According to Waste Pro, the acquisition made sense due to the synergistic strategic direction of both companies.
“When we met the folks at Angie’s, we immediately realized they ran a like-minded business in that caring for our environment and providing excellent service [were] top priorities,” Waste Pro Senior Vice President Keith Banasiak says. “They’ve built an excellent reputation for being the best, and we look forward to continuing that.”
