Waste Pro, Longwood, Florida, has announced the completion of two acquisitions in Georgia.
Over the summer, Waste Pro began servicing more than 2,700 new customers in Pickens County, Georgia, which were previously serviced by Mauldin Trash Service, Fairmont, Georgia. Customers receive bulk, yard waste and garbage collection services. This is a new area for Waste Pro of Georgia, and the company is in the process of setting up a new regional operations facility and office in the area.
In addition, Waste Pro has acquired a commercial route from Metro Site Inc. in Commerce, Georgia. The company is servicing 194 new customers as part of the arrangement.
“These are exciting times for Waste Pro of Georgia,” Waste Pro Georgia Divisional Vice President Jerry Harrison says. “We live and work here, so we’re proud to work with these two excellent companies and show our new customers how Waste Pro is ‘The Distinguishable Difference.’”
