Houston-based Waste Corporate of America (WCA) has announced the acquisition of Flynn’s Raytown Disposal of Raytown, Missouri, effective Jan. 2, 2018. Raytown is in Jackson County, Missouri, near Kansas City.
With the purchase, WCA has taken over the operation of all residential, commercial, and roll-off services to approximately 5,500 customers in the Raytown area. WCA indicates it has retained Flynn’s employees so it can “leverage [their] local industry expertise to deliver unparalleled customer service to local customers.”
“We are excited about this opportunity for growth and look forward to providing the same great service that Raytown customers have come to expect,” says Al Blease, a WCA regional vice president. “We are happy to have a dedicated team of solid waste professionals join the WCA family and we look forward to combining our many years of industry knowledge to offer the best service for our customers in the Raytown community.”
WCA describes itself as a vertically integrated, non-hazardous solid-waste services company with more than 1,400 employees and a fleet of some 850 vehicles.
