Michael Schmidt has been named the the new vice president - business development for WCA Management Co.
WCA is a Houston-based vertically integrated nonhazardous solid waste management company.
Prior to joining WCA, Schmidt helped establish one of the largest environmental lending firms in North America at Comerica Bank, Dallas, now consisting of $1.5 billion in commitments to the environmental industry, where he served for more than 13 years. In his new role, he will provide daily senior leadership over WCA's merger and acquisition opportunities.
Global Recruiters Network of McKinney, a worldwide executive search firm, based in McKinney, Texas, announced its president, Tyler Frisbie, was responsible for combining the financial acumen and business development leadership of Schmidt with WCA.
