The (Butte) Montana Standard reports that 24-year-old Butte, Montana, resident Dylan Dallaserra started his own recycling hauiling company in March 2016 for Butte residents.
Dallaserra told the newspaper his company, J3 Trucking, picks up large recyclables, including vehicles and appliances, for free and takes them to H&H Trading and Pacific Steel & Recycling, where he collects a fee for the scrapped items.
“I do it for free for our town,” Dallaserra told the Standard. “It’s where I was raised.”
Dallaserra said his decision was influenced by his previous position with McGree Trucking, a trash hauling company that serves Butte.

“Some people would drop off a fridge,” he added. “I’d rather get that recycled and not fill up our landfill. We don’t have unlimited land. Eventually one of these days we’re going to have to find another way.”
