Safe Fleet, a Belton, Missouri-based provider of several types of fleet vehicle safety products, has expanded its commercial vehicle division’s safety-as-a-service (SAAS) network by opening a new showroom facility in Houston.
The company says its new location will better serve owners and operators of work trucks in the construction, agriculture, refuse, recycling and other sectors.
The new service location will specialize in using premium solutions from Safe Fleet's family of tarping, video and van storage brands. Branded equipment from Roll-Rite, Pulltarps, Vango, American Van and Rear View Safety will be displayed in Houston.
Roll-Rite, Vango and Pulltarps provide a range of automatic, semiautomatic and rolling tarp solutions that ensure payloads stay covered, Safe Fleet says.
Rear View Safety, meanwhile, supplies backup cameras (including those with artificial intelligence capabilities), side cameras, mobile DVRs, sensors and monitors designed to improve drivers with visibility and road awareness.
“The site will also provide organizational and safety solutions from American Van in the form of shelving, ladder racks, flooring and partitions," Safe Fleet says. "With a combination of any of these products, clients can expect fully customized upfits, white glove service and a dedicated account manager.”
The company's overall portfolio of brands employs 1,800 people working from 15 manufacturing locations and 12 service centers. Safe Fleet is a portfolio company of Southfield, Michigan-based Clarience Technologies.
