Torxx Kinetic Inc. (TKI), a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based equipment manufacturer, has signed an exclusive license and distribution agreement with Terra Innovations Holdings LLC to recycle resilient flooring using the Torxx Kinetic Pulverizer.
“We are delighted to partner with the team at Terra as they bring insights and knowledge of a new customer base,” says Don Groseclose, TKI sales executive. “We look forward to working together as they roll out their systems across the market to improve both the quality and volume of regrinding that takes place in this important industry.”

“The unmatched quality, run rates and efficiency of the process we have designed around the Torxx Kinetic Pulverizer will be a game changer for resilient manufacturers looking to manage their raw material costs, while also eliminating the amount of waste going to landfill,” Terra Innovations Chief Operations Officer Clay Hindman says. “Terra Innovations is excited about the future of processing plastic and resin waste streams for the textile industry, and with the Torxx partnership the future looks very bright.”
The Torxx Kinetic Pulverizer grinds input materials together at high speeds to pulverize hard materials and tear soft materials into “fluff,” which TKI says creates a smaller fraction than traditional shredding equipment.
“This is another great demonstration of the benefits that kinetic pulverization brings to the waste industry,” TKI President Peter Everson says. “The product typically has a limestone base covered by extruded plastic. This is an ideal composite material for kinetic pulverization and results in a clean liberation of the materials without heat generation. This enables a good and consistent throughput, producing favorable costs.”
